What a great day. Went to school only to find out that the school was closed because the water main broke in the neighborhood and we had to cancel school!! YAY I got to go to lunch with my sister and then went on a lovely ride along the river. Great day.

Sweet Sweet Summer

Almost here! I can feel the humidity starting to climb. The flowers are getting fuller in their pots. We are happy and excited. JUNE WEDDINGS, GRADUATIONS.....AHHHHHHHHH BLISS!!!

What a day. We had a sub in the 5th and 6th grade classroom today. The kids were acting crazy, knowing that they could get away with murder! The poor sub had no idea what was going on. SHEESH

I'm dreaming of summer. Warm breezes blowing, puffy clouds making all kinds of wonderful shapes. Watching the hummingbirds drink the nectar from all of my beautiful flower on the deck. Reading book after book out on the deck, shaded by my lovely green umbrella. Sipping on ice tea. 2 weeks to go, and the dream becomes a reality. I am broke as a joke, but love every second of my summer :-)

Father's day is coming up soon. I sure do miss my dad. He died 10 years ago, and I still think about him almost every day. I have made a few things for my store for Father's day. I sure hope that people will take a look at the products and use them to let their dad know how much they love him.

Gray and gloomy here in MN today. Wish it was nice like yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. Skies the color of sapphires, with a few wisps of whipped cream clouds rolling through. The temperature was about 72F. GORGEOUS day.
I worked on my store till about 12:00PM. Was exhausted.

OK....I'm excited.  I was just checking on my store, and I sold a fews products today!!  I am thrilled!!  I've been working so hard on this store.  I add new designs every day, and for quite a while...nada.  My son kept telling me to just keep on adding things, that it takes some time for these things to work.  He has 2 very successful stores on cafe press and zazzle.  I have two also, but have never had the same success.  HE really has treated this like a full time job, and I haven't until recently.  Even though these sales were small, I am still very excited and happy.  I will keep on with this, because I can see that there will definitely be light at the end of the tunnel.  My dream is to be able to quit my job within the next year or so, and work on my shops at cafe press and zazzle full time from home.  That will really truly be "mayba's dream".

Sounds of Silence

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! My kids and some of my grandkids just left after being here all day.

I babysat the grands last night, and that was all good.  The parents showed up around 3:00PM and then decided to stay for dinner.  That was all good too.  But after they leave, I am so exhausted.  I am just so happy that I have a few hours to myself before bed!  Time for me to work on my www.zazzle.com/tragetees store.

Hi all!  Just starting this blog.
